A Day at the Zoo

What do kids love more than video games? Animals!

The Smithsonian National Zoo located in Washington D.C. is one of the best zoo’s in the U.S. There is something for everyone to love! Small children will have a field-day with the livestock at Kids’ Farm. Amazonia (my favorite exhibit) has aquariums and an open-air jungle where animals roam free. And the Giant Pandas are the stars of the show.

    • Love your blog! One of the great things I forgot to mention about the Smithsonian National Zoo is that there is not admittance fee. If you take public transit and pack a lunch, it’s a pretty cost-effective place to entertain your kids! 🙂

      • Thanks, we are planning to take the Metro and do the downhill walk from station to zoo to station. $22 to park would really make me cringe but with round trip metro fare we might not be too far from that $ either. LOL!
